Karnak Carpentry completed a full bespoke retail fit-out for a luxury jewellery and accessories boutique on Emaar Boulevard, one of Downtown Dubai’s most prestigious retail addresses, positioned directly on the tree-lined promenade between the Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Mall. The project scope covered every joinery element from the storefront entrance to the back-of-house workbench.
The main retail floor features a full-perimeter run of floor-to-ceiling high-gloss white lacquer display wall units with brushed satin brass open shelving brackets and individually lit display niches, each niche backlit with a focused warm LED spot precisely calibrated to render jewellery and accessories at their most vivid.
Freestanding jewellery showcase counters run through the retail floor, each counter is a brushed brass frame construction with a white lacquer base, a glass top with internal LED strip lighting, velvet-lined display insert trays in ivory and champagne tones, and a recessed rear storage shelf for box inventory.
The private VIP consultation suite at the rear of the boutique was fitted with a custom white lacquer consultation table with a brushed brass inlay border, two upholstered ivory velvet armchairs, a full-height white lacquer credenza with brushed brass handles for secure jewellery storage, and a single statement pendant light in brushed brass above the table. Cream travertine marble was used for the full retail floor and the consultation suite, its warm ivory tone and natural pitting complementing the white lacquer and brass palette and elevating the boutique’s sensory environment to a standard that matches its Emaar Boulevard address.
Retail joinery for a jewellery boutique on Emaar Boulevard operates at a different standard than any other commercial carpentry category. The display cases are the product, every surface a customer sees, touches, or looks through directly affects how they perceive the jewellery displayed inside. White high-gloss lacquer must be absolutely flawless at close range: no orange peel, no dust nibs, no uneven sheen. Brushed brass frames must be perfectly mitred at every corner with no visible weld or gap. Glass tops must be optically clear, cut to exact size, and seated without movement.
Karnak’s commercial fabrication team treated this Emaar Boulevard fit-out with the same precision they apply to the most demanding residential joinery, every lacquer panel was spray-finished in our climate-controlled workshop, every brass component was hand-finished and inspected before delivery, and the entire installation was completed during overnight hours to avoid any disruption to the boutique’s trading neighbours on the boulevard.
The result is a retail interior that positions the client’s jewellery brand at the level its Emaar Boulevard address demands, a space where the craftsmanship of the joinery becomes a silent signal of the quality of the product it displays. Every display unit, showcase counter, and consultation suite element is covered by Karnak’s structural and component warranty, with dedicated maintenance support available to keep the boutique’s white lacquer surfaces in showroom condition year-round.
