Bespoke White Plywood & Light Oak Villa Fit-Out on Palm Jumeirah, Dubai

Karnak Carpentry completed a full bespoke fit-out for a luxury residential villa on Palm Jumeirah – Dubai’s most iconic address and one of the most photographed residential communities on the planet. The project encompassed every room of the villa: a custom living room TV feature wall in fluted white-washed birch plywood with integrated warm LED backlighting, a full kitchen fit-out with handleless white plywood cabinet doors and a pale honey-tone light oak veneer island with brass waterfall edge detail, a master bedroom built-in headboard and wardrobe wall in white plywood with light oak floating shelf accents, and a complete walk-in wardrobe dressing suite combining floor-to-ceiling white plywood wardrobe units with a central light oak island dresser. White plywood was selected as the project’s hero material for its natural warmth, its visible birch grain texture, and its ability to carry the light,  essential in a Palm Jumeirah villa where interiors need to feel bright, coastal, and luxurious simultaneously. Light oak was paired throughout as an accent wood on the kitchen island, the dresser base, the floating bedroom shelves, and the wardrobe open bays – creating a two-tone material palette that reads as both natural and refined, perfectly calibrated to the villa’s high-end coastal character. All hardware, handles, plumbing fixtures, and lighting elements were specified in brushed satin brass, threading a continuous warm metallic accent through every room and tying the full-villa fit-out into a single coherent interior language.
